Tommy Tune Makes a special Request
Broadway legend and 10 time Tony Award Winner Tommy Tune, requested Diana and Blue Jupiter to serenade him at his grand birthday party. The event took place at the lavish and historic Landmark Loews Theatre. Topping the guest list was Hollywood star Lilane Montevecci, who won a Tony Award for her performance as Lilane la Fleur in Nine on Broadway. The evening consisted of 4 encores by Blue Jupiter and a collaboration of La Vie en Rose that Diana sung with Lilane.

Broadway and Beyond
Although you can currently find Diana traveling and singing around the world with international a cappella group Blue Jupiter, her career is deeply rooted in Broadway. Preisler has toured the US with national tours, including "Fiddler on the Roof," and "A Christmas Carol." She first got her start performing musical theatre at summer stock and regional theatres across the country. Some of her favorite roles include: Shelley in 'BatBoy the Musical', Eva Peron in 'Evita', Dorothy in the 'Wizard of Oz', Ado Annie in 'Oklahoma', Carrie in 'Carousel', and Linda in 'Blood Brothers'.
Preisler received her BA from SUNY Oswego. It was in college where she started combining her loves of theatre and music. Her theatre training landed her lead roles in Sam Shepard's "Buried Child, and Chekov's "Three Sisters," while her passion for music earned her a coveted position in Oswego's prestigious jazz ensemble State Singers, under the direction of Stan Gosek.
Diana's extensive training and education didn't end after college. Inspired by her directors and peers, Diana continued to study with some of the greatest performance and vocal coaches in NY. Preisler says "You have to be open to learning, every single day. The moment you think you know everything, you need to get out of the business."
When speaking of her days as an actress, Preisler adds: "Do I miss my days of musical theatre? Yes, dearly. However, Blue Jupiter allows me to explore my inner rockstar and perform outside of my comfort zone. A cappella has been a creative outlet where I get to sing many of the Broadway songs I love, arranged in a unique up-tempo Blue Jupiter style. I definitely hope to return to the musical theatre stage, as there are many Broadway shows I'd love to be apart of in the future."

Blue Jupiter performed at the Genesee Theatre in Chicago with soulful septet, Naturally7, who has toured globally with Michael Bublé. Naturally7 and Blue Jupiter have more than harmonies and good beats in common. Both super groups have their own National commercial campaign. Blue Jupiter known as the voice of the Oreo Cookie Jingles, and Naturally7 as the voice of the Honey Nut Cheerios spots which ran for several years.
A night of soulful r&b paired with Twisted Broadway songs made for a really fun night in Waukegan, IL where fans lined up for almost 90 minutes to meet and greet the groups after the show.
The Genesee Theatre is known for the Country Legend Ronnie Milksap's performance, and will feature Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth (Wicked) and The Brian Setzer Orchestra next month.

Each night during Blue Jupiter's Atlantic City run, Preisler announced the song, and spoke about how it was written by the great Smokey Robinson, who headlined on the same stage as them in Atlantic City-the SuperStar Theatre at Resorts Casino!
You can imagine the excitement when she and husband and band mate, Marty Gasper were invited backstage and meet the legend himself, and chat before his concert.
Both Blue Jupiter and Smokey Robinson were performing in the same town, on the infamous Atlantic City boardwalk, summer 2017. Smokey's concert was at The Tropicana, ...just a half mile of wooden boards between them.

Marc Summers (in case you don't have a television, or any access to cable) is the King of The Food Network, known in the early days as the Host of Nickelodeon's TV game show Double Dare, then later as the host of Unwrapped on The Food Network, and is currently the executive producer of shows such as Restaurant Impossible starring Chef Robert Irvine. The last thing they thought they would be singing about...eunuchs.
"We're always up for a challenge! We love that Marc Summers' creative team called on Blue Jupiter to sing, and arrange for their brand new pilot (insert N.D.A...which makes it hush hush). That the topic is something so completely ridiculous, makes it even better. Bring it on! " -Preisler continues "You'd crack up if you knew about some of the music projects we've worked on in our recording studio in NYC.
